Quote it Sat is a weekly meme hosted by Leslie at That Chick that Reads in which you can quote from anything really. Favorite books, people, just anything that you like!
Dag in the dreaded snow. He hated water and
just because it was frozen didn't make it better, LOL.
Anyway this week's quote is from...

"Some were preserved so that the deceased would have companionship in eternity. Ancient Egyptians who could afford it prepared their tombs lavishly, hoping that their assembled personal items, and everything shown in specially commissioned works of art, would magically be available to them after death."
I've been missing Dag. He was my protector, my friend and the biggest, friendliest 150 lb. teddy bear you could find. Reading this the other evening, I realized that although I've had dozens of pets in my life so far, Dag truly is the only one I would want to have when it's all said and done. He died in July, and I don't think I've truly felt safe at night since, even with the two other dogs. Although, I must say, I'm not sure where I would have kept a German Rottweiler of his size stashed while he waited for me. Miss you, Dag.
