I went out to do some shopping and have lunch with my son the other day. We stopped by the local college and while he went in to clear up something, I wandered through their pond and rose garden. Unfortunately, of the probably 75 roses in the display, there was only a dozen or so that hadn't completely gone to seed... Is that what roses do? They were completely overgrown and only had rosehips left. I did find these beauties, though. They started out creamy white with a touch of pink and turned into a vibrant hot pink. They smelled wonderful!
